A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art.

My Photo Shoots

I sometimes capture video while shooting and many times I don't put the video to use. Here are a few clips from shoots I've done in which video was never published before. Quick just-for-fun video.

Krissie Photo Shoot

Krissie is without a doubt one of the kind people. She is always a pleasure to shoot with.

Nuclear Insight - My First Gallery Display

I took part in an art exhibit at General Provision back in October. It was a great experience, met new friends, sold some work, and just had a great time mingling with other artists.

Just Because

I found a new song that inspired me to create something...anything. I put together clips that my camera has captured.

A place called Deolate

I did not attend my daughter's third birthday. I was in the middle of a divorce process, and I couldn't bear showing up at her party (hosted by her mother's father), putting on a fake smile, when my heart is shredded apart.

I never expected to miss one of my daughter's birthday, but on this day, I was sad. Very sad. I explained to the model that I was feeling down and told her why. A photo shoot was the distraction I needed to get through the day.

The result displayed an accurate reflection of how I was feeling that day.

Old Portfolio Video

An upload for Throwback Thursday. A glimpse of my early portfolio...wow...it's fun to look back and see how much my work has changed. How some aspects of it I miss... and some I do not.

Melanie Photo Shoot

It has been a very long time since I've had this much fun on a photo shoot. It also marks the first shoot I do in which I bring a GoPro camera with me. I wanted to play around with the GoPro, so I took footage of our shoot. I was awestruck by the footage the GoPro captured, so I made a small video of what it's like to shoot with me. Melanie, thank you for being such an amazing person, outside and in. I look forward to our future shoots and yay for finding a meditation partner! :)
